Kerry Juknaitis

Overview

Kerry Juknaitis is is an independent consultant who also operates under the CPM umbrella and has worked as a consultant in change and performance management since 1991.  She has worked on a range of CPM consultancies since 2006 designing and delivering in-house programs.

Kerry specialises in the areas of leadership and management development, strategic thinking and planning, performance management and change management.  She currently delivers CPM’s public programs for all levels on strategic thinking and EL2 leadership development program among others.

Kerry has facilitated countless strategic and business planning workshops with work units of different sizes and staff at all levels and has undertaken a range of projects improving performance management policy and practices in agencies.

Kerry’s consulting expertise is built on the foundation of 9 years experience in managing people issues in the APS, including as Director National Training for the former Department of Employment, Education and Training and Director Career Development for the former Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs.

Kerry’s has a strong reputation for on-time delivery of quality consulting projects and a strong and motivating presenter.  She led a series of major CPM projects developing, delivering and documenting training products for the Department of Defence, and designed and delivers the annual Women In Law Enforcement (WILES) Mentoring Program.

Other major clients include the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Australian National Audit Office. She has worked for every portfolio Department during her consulting career and has designed, reviewed and implemented leadership and management development in at least twenty public sector organisations.

Kerry consistency receives excellent ratings for her public training courses, and is sought out by many CPM clients for her expertise in change management, performance management and strategic thinking.

Qualifications, Accreditations and Certifications

Kerry has a B.Sc (Hons) in Psychology from UNSW, specialising in social psychology and statistics and has undertaken post-graduate studies in Change Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management and in Accounting at Canberra University. She is accredited to use Myers Briggs Type Inventory, Team Management Index, Hermann Brain Dominance Index, DiSC and the Strength Deployment Inventory.  She is a Certificate 4 Trainer and Assessor.

Kerry is currently upgrading her psychology qualifications and is an active participant in conferences and events delivered in her professional field.
